Salon and Spa Services

Resident Salon Services provides on-site salon services to retirement communities, assisted living facilities, long term care centers, and nursing homes. Services include salon and spa set-up, management, and staffing, as well as special events for residents, staff, and prospective residents.

Alden Court in Fairhaven Welcomes the Well Elders of the Community

Alden Court in Fairhaven, MA opened its doors and hearts to the well elders of their community for a Senior Spa Day.

On Saturday, November 24, the salon and spa extended its hours and opened from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Our manicurist at Alden Court, Kathleen Shepley, was on board for the day to pamper the guests. Two other manicurists, as well as two massage therapists, were also provided by our company to help out with the festivities. A special guest, Miss Teen Massachusetts, greeted each individual upon arrival. All of the participating elders were scheduled with appointments to receive both massage and manicure services. Additionally, all services were offered free of charge! The activities department ran this event for the Community and served delicious smoothies and healthy snacks to the visitors.

The Alzheimer’s Association® essentiALZ® certification program is designed for family members; staffs at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice, home health organizations, adult day programs, and government and social service agencies; and police, fire, and other first responders. It combines online HealthCare Interactive CARES® dementia care training with Alzheimer’s Association certification exams.
